UPDATE: Is Security Investment About To Surge?
13 Jan 2010 EST - CNBC.com

Considering Google is threatening to get out of China because of cyber attacks, once again security companies are finding themselves in the spotlight.

According to published reports, large-scale cyber attacks “have been under way for weeks with the attackers accessing the Gmail accounts of Chinese human-rights activists."These developments amplify growing concerns about security.

It was only last week that President Obama demanded improvements in the nation's counter-terrorism efforts.

On January 5th , after meeting with top security officials about the Christmas Day terror attempt, he said, it was not a failure to collect intelligence, it was a failure to integrate that intelligence.

With security and cyber-security grabbing the headlines twice in two weeks, what names should be on your radar?
