There’s no denying that the cloud computing space is ripe for the picking.First there was 3Par acquired by Hewlett Packard , then Netezza by IBM . And on Monday we saw Isilon get taken out by EMC . In the wake of all the action we can’t help but wonder who’s next? Seems like Brian Marshall of Gleacher feels the same. He put out a report outlining who he thinks are the top 5 take out candidates. They follows:

#1 Quantum Corporation #2 Compellent Technologies #3 Riverbed Technologies #4 CommVault Systems#5 F5 Networks Source: GleacherWhat should you make of this list?I think companies with a market cap of $1.5 billion or less are probably the most attractive takeout candidates, says Pete Najarian. As a result I'd take Riverbed and F5 off my short list of likely candidates.Compellent trades north of 65 times earnings so it’s not a value trade, says Guy Adami. However there is chatter that HP is sniffing around this name.
