The diversified industrial manufacturer posted earnings of $1.40 a share on revenue of $6.35 billion.

Ametek

The electronic instrument manufacturer posted earnings of 54 cents a share on revenue of $556.66 million.

Ashland

The specialty chemical company announced earnings of $1.02 a share on revenue of $2.25 billion.

Automatic Data

The data communication and information services company posted earnings of 79 cents a share on revenue of $2.44 billion.
