The oil company announced earnings of $1.82 a share on revenue of $56.53 billion.

Baker Hughes

The oilfield services company delivered earnings of 87 cents a share on revenue of $4.53 billion.

Barrick Gold

The gold miner reported earnings of $1.01 a share on revenue of $3.09 billion.

Corning

The specialty glass maker announced earnings of 47 cents a share on revenue of $1.92 billion.

Dr Pepper Snapple

The drink company posted earnings of 50 cents a share on revenue of $1.33 billion.
