Q: Is the good consumer sentiment number better for cons discretionary or cons staple stocks?
A: JJ Kinahan says it should benefit the consumer discretionary sector in the short term, however only the short-term.“I think consumer discretionary, after the holiday season might suffer. For the long-term I'd play consumer staples stocks – ones that aren’t sexy.”
