Stocks to Watch: American Express, GAP and More ...

Stocks climbed after good news on private sector jobs added to better-than-expected manufacturing data from China, and a calmer tone in Europe, to lift investor sentiment.

The Dow Jones Industrial Averagerose about 200 points, a day after stocks ended the month lower .

All 30 Dow components rose led by Home DepotUnited Technologies, and Microsoft .

So which individual stocks are worth watching today? Here are six that are on the move: American Express CoThe consumer finance company was initiated overweight at JP Morgan with a $50 price target.

GAP IncThe clothing retailer was initiated sell at Citi.

Kroger CoThe food retailer and wholesaler was upgraded to buy from neutral at UBS. The firm also increased the price target to $27 from $23 per share. The company will be out with earnings Before the Bell Thursday.

Weight Watchers Intl IncThe weight management service company was initiated outperform at Wedbush Securities with a $42 price target.

Camden Property TrustThe real estate investment trust was downgraded to neutral from buy at Janney Capital.
